From Frustration to Freshness: How One Simple Fix Sparked a Clean Revolution
Most great ideas start with a problem.
Mine started in the bathroom.
My name is Hani Ghalayini, and before launching Rinse &
Rearpeat, I was a busy construction project manager who had two
constants in life: long workdays and the uncomfortable reality that
traditional toilet paper just... wasn't it.
Between managing job sites, doing vendor calls, and running from one
meeting to the next, I realized something ridiculous: we obsess over
design, comfort, and efficiency everywhere except the one place we use
every single day. And honestly? I was tired of feeling like something so
essential had been overlooked.
On top of that, I've always cared about health, cleanliness, and
quality. Toilet paper didn't check any of those boxes. It wasted money,
irritated skin, and wasn't exactly eco-friendly.
One day, after an especially long day on site, I thought:
"There has to be a better way-and why isn't anyone making it feel premium and fun?"
